Dear CCMSA Chapter members,
May is a busy month as we celebrate Mother’s Day, Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day and Graduations. So take a few minutes in May and reflect and enjoy the people who are close to you.
If you did not get a chance to attend the local CCMSA conference, “The Academy Rewards of Case Management. You missed an incredible conference with local and national speakers. My hat goes off to the Conference Committee, for doing an outstanding job. If you see them, please let them know you appreciated all of their hard work. They are Alecia O’Neal, Kathy Ream, Vicki Hannah, Denise Lambert, Debbie Jackson, Delores Hopkins, JoAnne Foster, Lisa Chambers, Graysen Ballard, Jennifer DeVaul, Nancy Skinner, Bob Caylor, Karen Lawrence, Carol Brooks, Debbie Higdon, Sue Burgess, and Suzanne Haynes. Thank you for all of your hard work and for making the conference a success.
We would also like to thank our Corporate Sponsors and Vendors, because without you, there would be no conference.
The CCMSA Board would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Sandra Ross to the board as our Historian. She was the photographer taking pictures at the local conference.
Our May program will be “Multiple Sclerosis”. Please note a change in location for this program. It will be held at Erlanger Hospital, Medical Mall in the POB conference room. We will make every effort to make this transition seamless for this meeting.
Please also remember Nancy Skinner who is the 2008 Grassroots Award winner. Anytime our local chapter has identified a need, Nancy has stepped in and made things possible for us. Nancy announced at that the local conference that her 9 month old granddaughter, Lilli, has been diagnosed with Infantile Leukemia. Please keep Nancy and her family in your thoughts and prayers.
